I think an 800 would download to PC via the mini USB cable. ![]() Mikey23 wrote:I don't know trainer road but if you have an 800 and a gsc10 then you have all you need to give you speed and cadence data. It is obviously not as slick, but I'm not sure I'd pay the 99 bucks for 'trainer road'. It is not hard to design sessions using a book (from the library), or possibly on-line. BTW: the open-source (Mac) program Golden Cheetah is free, displays live and provides a virtual Power reading that is creepily close to my real power-meter (bike on a Tacx Flow with appropriate pressures and good contact). I'm sure it will be on the garmin website somewhere also. Windows does and can be downloaded from the website if you sign up (free) as an 'ANT adopter' (developer). ANT USB sticks are €13.86 + vat + postage from germany: (NB, website will try to sell you 50 sticks or something stupid!) Garmin own ANT anyway. Hi, hope you didn't pay too much for an official Garmin ANT USB stick. If you do need an ant stick I would think amazon is first stop. ![]() Please excuse me if I'm talking hogwash or haven't understood your needs. I think the software you need on the PC to download is garmin communicator. ![]() If this is the case then you don't need an ant+ stick which enables wireless communication I am similarly confined due to a shoulder op and by linking my gsc10 with my 500, I have the info I need on the 500 as I cycle and can download it to garmin connect and strava afterwards. I don't know trainer road but if you have an 800 and a gsc10 then you have all you need to give you speed and cadence data. Thanks' in advance for any assistance with this. Not ever so puter savvy here I have the Garmin GSC 10 and Edge 800. Can you tell me please where is the best place to buy the ANT+stick from or where you got yours? I am looking to do the same as you on TrainerRoad and getting very confused as to what it is that I need. I am unable to get on the road due to a shoulder operation but am allowed to use a turbo trainer. I logged into trainerroad and found the various downloads I needed there, downloaded them, set the garmin up on the bike(cadence and speed sensors),followed the video on trainerroad on how to pair and it worked a treat albeit for a poor signal, but just moved the laptop a bit closer and seems to be going ok so far now.fingers crossed it stays that way. Yeah its called 'ant agent' and after a lot of searching again etc etc finally got it up and running. Garmin are not the best at explaining things! Mikey23 wrote:I think it's called ant agent. Garmin ant agent free download - Garmin ANT Agent, MotionBased Agent, Garmin ANT+ Watch Uploader PRO, and many more programs. Thanks in advance for any help no matter how little it is.Ĭheckpoint Endpoint Security Vpn Client Download Mac. Thing is the instructions with it are poor to say the very least only saying 'download the software from BEFORE connecting the usb ant stick to your pc' I've been through almost every inch of this site and cannot find the software which they could be talking about(TBH i'm not to sure what i'm looking for).so my question is has anyone on here had to go through this process and be able to tell me what to look for and what I need to do.I've downloaded and installed the plug-in communicator but I think theres more to it that that. Hi guys just bought myself an ANT+ stick to use with my pc so I can join trainerroad and train on the turbo over the winter.
